The Dead Covers Project
Whether you play just like Jerry or like to give the Grateful Dead's beloved classics a unique spin, the 2014 Dead Covers Project wants you! We're calling all musicians - near and far - to share their love for the music and magic of the Dead through video. Show off your musical chops and you just might find yourself front and center on Dead.net during the month of February! The rules are simple - all video submissions must contain a song either written by or recorded by the Dead. How that song is interpreted, however, is entirely up to you.
Upload your video to YouTube, tag it "DeadCoversProject," and we'll make it available to view on the band's official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/gratefuldead. Need a little inspiration? During February, you can also check out an exclusive video playlist featuring a handful of hot submissions at www.facebook.com/gratefuldead. Can't carry a tune? Join the fun by "liking" your favorites on YouTube!
The tags look fine. It mine close to a week to show up in youtube when I searched for it using the proper tags.
If you want the vid to show up here go under "share" on your video page and click on embed. Take that code and post it here.
This rocked guys! I loved it.

Sorry. The secret word came up twice so I thought it didn't post the first time.
This one seemed to go into the ozone, so I'll post it again. This is Buffalo Crossing's third submission for the Dead Covers Project. Hope to see you all around soon. Special thanks to Bob Martin for keeping the bus on schedule.
Enjoy The Kind Buds and the visuals for The Kind Buds's submission to the 2014 Dead Covers Project!
thank you!! i saw Jerry play this many times in the early 80s and i can't remember which show the dead played it at, but that was awesome too. it was one of the first songs i ever performed and was a mainstay when i would play outside shows looking for tickets on tour. :)
