I met my wife on January 26, 1979. I had just returned from a trip to CA for the 78-79 New Year. I missed the Pauley Pavilion 12-30-1978 show by one day! My wife had lived in San Mateo and that was the start of the conversation. After several months of dating, we were walking in a preserve when I saw this tree with a blue trail marker. After close inspection, someone had scratched "St. Stephen" into the metal. I was wearing my Dead T shirt from the Giants Stadium 09-02-1978 show.
