Were some nice comments about her, after the Polish escapade, so thought would post this photo. THAT FACE!!!!!!!!! The nice dress, but holes in her tights and rollerblades! Is about the most realistic photographic image of my girl´s spirit.

With Imena (is her name) the line you quote is a sentiment that I can heartily agree with-I have to marvel at her strength and beautiful nature almost every day. That spirit shining out seems to bring out the best in those around her, and would be tragic were this quality lost due to the hard knocks of growing up.

somewhat related to Lather, is the track, on PERRO I think, in which the Kantner kid of appropriate age, I think China but might be her little bro, sings a song, more or less a capella, beginning, "And she will sit there, in the noonday sun..." which has very much that spirit. Haven't played it for decades, but this discussion brought it right back.
Guess should also be honest
and admit that partially what had her so highly amused that night was it was the only time in her life that she saw her mother completely schnockerd! Was my 40th birthday party-and is a short video of she and I holding hands and twirling to the music, her on her inliners, and me barefoot in a long dress-and she is just beaming at me. Supposedly this photo was right after that Sadly the only memory I have of this happy twirling is this video!
