My ex wife snapped this pic of crispy me in my favorite home made t-shirt (the blue rose) packing up "CARCIA" after checking out of our hotel. I certainly was lacking in the sleep department (after 2 amazing shows that kicked off spring tour) but ready for show 3! And my, did the Dead ever lay down a serious, thundering, crowd driven, turbo charged "Terrapin" on us that night! Little did I or all our friends know while we were packing up our vehicles of what was to hit us like a ton of bricks in just a few hours. That Terrapin alone steered me home post show on the 3 hour trip back to DC. CARCIA drove us everywhere. ; ) -T
