  • Dead in Iraq
Even though is very much against regulation, I wore my Dead shirts thru my Iraq tour. This was taken during some down time that we had when we came in from a patrol. A buddy of mine wanted to take a picture to send to his mother because she didnt believe that a, in her words, "hippie" would be over in Iraq. I just thought it was kinda funny and wanted to share it with everyone.

Now there's the ultimate weapon in the "war on terror." Way to go, DeadHead86, and thank you for your service. Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

Wow, guys. I wasnt expecting so much reply on this picture. I know it seems weird to some that I have been to Iraq, and even looked down on by others. Trust me when I say I do it for the right reasons. Its something that you cant really understand unless youve experienced it. I do thank all over you though for your support.

My dad spent a year in Vietnam when I was 11 and thanks for putting your life on the line for us. Wearing the shirt you've got on just makes it even sweeter. You'll be in the group illustration. Got your pic. ; ) ~Tom ( "takes the dark out of the nighttime, paints the daytime black")
