I always heard that west coast shows were different. Well its true. My brother and I had two tour rats in front of us. We were about 20 feet from the stage. The pair were tripping their asses off and were very open to alot of things. During the set break I started talking about late 20th century music, like Phillip Glass, Steve Reich and John Cage. And how the Dead were seemed to be listening to those composers. These two guys were totally soaking it up. It was a great deal fun. Throwin' Stones (always)
