• Unnecessary fun
Unfortunately, GDTSTOO was a little late in providing the opportunity to mail order for the Phil & Friends / Black Crowes show on 10/5/08. Tickets went on sale to the general public through the Ticket Bastard on Saturday. I did take the opportunity to prepare my mail order envelope (and I had a lot of fun doing it) in the event I got hosed by TB again. I did get a relatively decent seat, so I did not use my mail order, but I figured I would go ahead and offer it up for others' enjoyment here. Peace. I

    Very nice work
This artwork is a pleasure to see, as opposed to all the computer manipulation stuff. Similar to listening to a real drummer as opposed to a drum machine. Thank you GADEADHEAD for sharing a real treasure with us.

    Great Artwork
I don't know who this GADEADHEAD is but he is a fine artist and a good researcher. I can't wait to see Phil and Friends and the Black Crowes in Atlanta. It should be a very good show. Keep up the good work GADEADHEAD. Peace, Brian

    The Crowes are Family
Growing up in Atlanta as a Deadhead, I have seen the Black Crowes several times, including the free Pot Festival in Piedmont Park. There are many ties between the Dead, the Hippie Scene and the Black Crowes. I think it is intersting that the upcoming show occurs by itself on the schedule (the next nearest date is Ironically about two months before this show on 8/2 at GOTV with Phil & Friends and The Black Crowes both on that bill ) A few of the interactions I have had include: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **04-11-92 (Sat) Great Atlanta Pot Festival Black Crows ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Black Moon Creeping, Sting Me, Twice as Hard, Thick n' Thin, Thorn in My Pride, Dreams, Remedy*, Hotel Illness, Stare It Cold, She Talks to Angels, No Speak No Slave*, My Morning Song, Jealous Again * First time played Great Atlanta Pot Festival for the benefit of N.O.R.M.L With The Grapes and The Urban Shakedancers. 50,000 fans showed up for the show. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **08-27-95 H.O.R.D.E Black Crowes Lakewood Amph.
