Great show. Still have an intact ticket ! One friend was too "messed up" to get out of bed that day.

I remember that night....

the bottle was dusty, but the liquor was clean.... The Wall of Sound certainly was an incredible effort. The 6/18/74 Louisville show at Freedom Hall had a condensed version.
I've seen the photos from Des Moines, 2 days earlier, with the outdoor rig similar to the one in Santa Barbara on 5/25.

My first Grateful Dead concert

6 bucks........If someone told me that 35 yrs later I would be paying 170 bucks for roundtrip airfare, 500 bucks for 2 tickets and hotel to see 'em in Denver. another 500 for 2 tix and hotel to see em' at the Forum.........Wow.....what a long strange trip it's been.

Broken heart don't feel so bad......You ain't got half of what you thought you had.
