It's about that time to break out the banjo, gather up the family band, and let your creativity flow, visually and vocally. The DEAD COVERS PROJECT returns in 2018! We will be featuring selections on Grateful Dead properties all February long but you can send in your submissions as soon as January 1st. Simply upload your video to YouTube, tag it "DeadCoversProject," and we'll make it available to view on the band's official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/gratefuldead in February.

First time poster...
...looong time lurker! Had to finally register to chime in about the Dead Covers Project. Portland filmmaker Ian Fowler made a video of my band's performance of Bird Song at a show in November in NYC. We've collaborated on a few things before, but this work he's done is really beautiful and I wanted to share it as much as I can. SerenityRoad, Submissions are over for this year, but for next year, I have some advice: I took a look at your tags. You have "DeadCoversProject2018" as well as "Dead Covers Project" The tag should simply be just: "DeadCoversProject" Your vids sound promising although not really a 'video' Best of luck in 2019.
