RR is 3 weeks from tomorrow. Yaaahooo! Been waiting for this for a looong time - since when 2004? Wow. So whos' going? I'd like to have a meeting place for dead.net folks. It is almost impossible to meet up in the parking lot at RR since the lots are spread out and the walk from one lot to the next is not exactly easy. I was thinking a better spot may be inside, at the top, outside the entrance to the visitor center?? I don't know, like a 1/2 hour to one hour before showtime?? I usually try to get inside early. I am not good at planning get-togethers like Canyon Critter for example so other suggestions are welcome. =) See you there!! "The dire wolf collects his due while the boys sing round the fire"

I could be going to Red Rocks and take my daughter Carly. She'll be 28 on the 25th and I know she'd enjoy the heck out of it. Took her & her sister to Pine Knob 6-19/20-91 but they were only 8 & 10 so this would be a great refresher. And since I've never been there myself it'd be a good weekend for me too!Peace, Steve

Hey, Swelldance, good plan; I'm all over it myself - I'm flying in from Maryland to visit my son in Denver. I usually go out there once a year, and when I heard the Furthur show on the 26th was going to happen, I arranged my schedule accordingly. My son is a big Rockies fan, and I love going to games there (especially since my Orioles suck); not sure which night he's getting tickets, but I know it's the Giants. He works in the brewery biz, so I always get to drink good beers. I also love the green chili. I can't wait. Colorado rocks, but I expect to especially have big fun this time. If anyone has been picking up on Furthur sets on the Internet Archive, the set lists are incredible and the playing has been inspired. I went to Red Rocks last summer to hear David Byrne and the place is unbelievable - great view, great sound, plenty of room to dance (if I can get some oxygen) and the crowd clearly believes in rocking out. ~ I'll meet you some morning in the sweet by and by

Me and a buddy are trying hard to get out there and are probably gonna drive. Jstraw I'd love to meet you and put a face to a fellow viner family member. How is the cell service @ red rox? I find that the best way to meet up is by cell phone. I know of a ton of Dead.netters going and even if I don't go I could pass the word around. One things for sure, that place is huge! Sure hope we get enough to go! ♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥ Twirly Banner

Cell service works fine there but what I was trying to say is that meeting up in the lots is really hard to do cell phones or not. Unless you really love walking up and down hills. I'll be hanging around on top before showtime. Hoping to bump into some people up there. I wish I had a banner or flag or something..... But if you see a big flagpole in the lot it will have bertha and steal your face flags on it, come say high to the Utah crew. My time coming, any day, don't worry about me, no It's gonna be just like they say, them voices tell me so Seems so long I felt this way and time sure passin' slow My time coming, any day, don't worry about me, no
