Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, our first instalment of the new year. Happy 2018, everyone!

Our first selection this week is the end of the show on 12/26/80 in Oakland, the first night of a five night New Year’s run: Space > Not Fade Away > Black Peter > Around And Around > Good Lovin'.

Next up is the entire first set from 12/29/88, the second night of a three night run in Oakland to end 1988, including To Lay Me Down, which had returned to the repertoire earlier in 1988: Hell In A Bucket > Sugaree ; New Minglewood Blues ; Friend Of The Devil ; Queen Jane Approximately ; To Lay Me Down > Let It Grow.

Last this week is the entire first set from 12/30/89 in Oakland, featuring Bertha> Good Lovin' > Sugaree ; Walkin' Blues ; Jack-A-Roe ; When I Paint My Masterpiece, West L.A. Fadeaway ; The Music Never Stopped.
