June 27 - August 2, 2015
Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from three very fine Grateful Dead years, 1977, 1978 and 1979.
Our first stop is on 5/18/77 in Atlanta, on one of the greatest tours in the Grateful Dead's 30 year performing career. From this show, we have first music featuring New Minglewood Blues ; It Must Have Been The Roses ; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication; High Time ; The Music Never Stopped.
From a year later on another excellent tour, we have music recorded on 5/13/78 at the Philadelphia Spectrum, featuring the start of the second set: Bertha > Good Lovin' ; Terrapin Station > Playing In The Band.
Our last stop this week is on 5/7/79 in Easton, PA, where we have music from the first set of Brent's fifth show as a member of the Grateful Dead, featuring Me And My Uncle> Big River ; Candyman ; Looks Like Rain.
Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.

Dave's Picks No.? maybe, Please.
No repeats this week, that is great. Thanks so much for representing my favorite era of Dead: the late 70's.
It's cool to hear these uncirculating boards. Well recorded to boot with Phil nice and prominent in the mix. Thanks Dead.net!
