Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have music from 1981, 1988, and 1989, a big batch of Brent-era 1980s Grateful Dead.
Our first selection this week is the end of the first set from 5/11/81 in New Haven, where we have It's All Over Now; Althea; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication; Don't Ease Me In.
Next is the start of the second set from the opening night at of the New Year’s run of 1988, on 12/28/88 in Oakland, where we have China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider, Estimated Prophet>He's Gone.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from the opening night of the New Year’s run a year later, on 12/27/89 in Oakland, where we have Iko Iko; Playing In The Band> Crazy Fingers > Uncle John's Band > Drums> Space.
