Dan Lampinski AUDs Part 1 Vine

Dan Lampinski taped a lot of shows in New England in the 1970's. I don't think he ever recorded the Dead, but he captured a lot of great bands. His recordings are only recently being circulated. Here, presented in SHN/FLAC format, on a single DVD, are 5 of his recordings: Styx 11/4/77, Heart 1/27/79, Bruce Springsteen 7/20/75, Yes 8/15/77 and Yes 12/11/74. The Styx and '74 Yes shows (both A AUDs) are especially enjoyable. I grade the sound quality of the Bruce show as A- and the others as B+.

Styx are one of those bands that doesn't get as much respect as they deserve. Young people don't know them aside from Mr. Roboto and older people, especially those who loved them at one time, felt betrayed because of Mr. Roboto. But in 1977, this band was at a peak. I love the show.

I am working on acquiring yet another Yes show, and maybe Rush, Supertramp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jethro Tull and Lou Reed. I can't seem to get the Queen 76 Lampinski recording. If someone has or can get that please let me know.
