Can someone please explain to me what are these vine topics that I see posted on this message board? Thanks.

These are shows that people are "vining." Person 1 decides they want to give away some shows. Person 2 signs up and sends their address to Person 1. Person 1 sends them the shows. Person 2 rips and burns the shows, then sends the ORIGINALS on to the next person on the list. Most of the shows are trade in WAV but some are in FLAc/SHN.

Haha, MaryE, "should that ever come," the vines seem like they go on indefinitely.

Is anyone converting these shows to WAV? I'm willing to send a show to the person that does!

I will work on Europe '74 this weekend and then send out to HalR. And Hal can then send to reedchris to get us back "in order' (is it possible to get this wild & unruly bunch in order?) But thanks to all and vine on! Tim

Discs arrived from South Carolina. Unfortunately the second DVD appears to have been damaged somewhere along the way. I am only able to copy part of 05/03/1972 up through D4T4. The rest of the disc cannot be accessed. I can't replace the disc as I don't have a DVD burner. The first DVD is ok and the CDs all appear to be ok so far. I will forward the discs (including damaged 2nd DVD) on to North Carolina once I'm done here.

almost seven months after i signed up for this one ,, i forgot i signed up for it ,,,lol .. Thank you for converting , the dvd`s are gone, he`s gone , got something off them but not much , it actually looks like the paper envelope they are in may have help cause damage , who knows ?? anyway it`s been a long time since i had so many cd`rs to copy , will do my best to have it out to Mark by the end of the week .. if anyone has good copy`s of the dvd`s i would love to have copy`s .. please ...
