Thanks to cosmicbadger for the heads up: the GD Archive at UC Santa Cruz just received a nice federal grant!

good idea buddy

I have whined and moaned about that issue with the best of them, but to the best of my knowledge the Feds have not yet given anyone a grant to give us cheap GD Music....or maybe they have and some mean pachyderm has run off with it!

Please Mr. Badger...

... while the powers that be seem to be under your spell, can you ask them to give us a break on the price of the CD releases? $100.00 is kinda high for a 3 show box set... And when I read about the amount of taxes, tariffs, delivery charges that the European heads have to pay, it's really quite expensive. And everybody knows how perspicacious the fans are over on that side of the pond.

badger power

Not long ago I was suggesting that this archive material should be put on the web (and not sold to us in expensive scrapbooks) and a few days later they get a grant to do just that!!

Coincidence?
