Searching for the Sound is a wonderful Book. I really enjoyed it. There's some really funky art & Grate Pictures.
Tell us what you think when your finished with it, and I'll add my 2 cents. Don't want to give anything away
PEACE
Was in my mailbox today, from a friend. What a treat!!! Didn't even know this book existed, to my chagrin, but on the other hand was a better suprise this way.

Howdy folks...wow things have changed since the last time I was here :-) It seems a lot slower and dustier than a couple years back...
Anyways, I am here in my not quite desperate yet search for any ticket to the Phil shows in Portland...I missed the mail order since I don't check it nearly as regularly these days and it sold out nearly immediately so by 1pm of the onsale day they were all gone...
That said if anyone has a single extra or more I'd be extremely happy to take it off your hands!
Gracias!

the spam filter has really been acting up lately and probably needs a few wellbeams of its own.
You may delete GR's posts as well. I suspected that some filter was the problem but couldn't find the offensive text. Sorry to have caused any extra work, as you can see, just more of my shenanigans, nothing of real importance. Sorry for the trouble and thanks again.
The Dude Abides!
I think I have restored GRTUD's original post and removed the rest (thanks, GR), but if you're seeing something different let me know. The spam filter has really been acting up lately; sorry for the trouble.
there appears to be some difficulty with something in your previous posts triggering a spam filter or something. I'm working on disentangling the problem now. Stay tuned...
I'm having no luck with the remainder of my post. WTF?

Part I
Just to clarify (and not contradict), Phil and his web site does not provide downloads but rather links to the sites where fans upload shows for others to download via FTP, peer to peer, via third party software, which is usually free (complicated? sounds worse than is, in reality). They do maintain a "store", which sells their stuff and music, as well. Maintaining a site to provide download material is not easy and can contain much liability and expense, I'm told. Bobby's site uses a 3rd party (with separate web site) for purchased downloads. I only point this out because my idea is that some folks here are under the wrong impression, regarding downloads, and where they really come from, either free or purchased.
