This is a mix I made from my collection a while back. In my mind, it showcases the "essential" Pigpen
in all his glory. If you want raw blues and epic raps, I think that this compilation covers mostly all of
the ground needed to showcase the different sides of Ron McKernan.

This is my first upload, so I hope everything is correct.

Hey now Eric! Great idea on the Pig stuff. I won't slow up the vine by adding my name, but I'm going to use the idea and the song order to create my own Pigpen cds. I always thought they should have officially released something like this. I can see the cover of the box set...... big 'ol Pigpen scoul with his arms crossed wearin his vest, striped shirt, & that biker hat with his long hair flowin beneath. Who knows? Maybe it'll be in the offing.

Hey folks , if your a Pig fan your gonna Love this . The man who put this together did a wonderfull job !! It is virtually seemless , a couple songs have a very short pause between them but it is so small you`ll never notice unless you are looking for it .
I`ll have this out Tuesday afternoon or wendsday morning . 2 cdr`s wav.
