About Me: Unfortunately I missed the boat by 2 years. My first show was the Further Festival stop in St. Louis, Summer of 98. Yes the Other Ones played, Rusted Root and Bruce. I had the best time ever at that, my first official "show" of any kind. I remember parts of the setlist now, Lovelight was great towards the end. Anyway it was my calling I had no idea about the music or scene until I moved close to St. Louis. So I'm totally wrapped up in the Jamband scene, having been to 100+ shows and festivals since that Further tour. I've seen the Dead 3 times and Phil and Friends over and again, Ratdog yes you guys know the rest.
I listen to the Dead everyday and couldn't fathom how I'd take in Jerry's sweet sweet playing, even if the shows I would have attended would've been 93-95 but still......I know sweet guitar and love sweet guitar, Trey has helped me out in that since so I cannot imagine what Jerry would have done for me. Anyway that's part of my story. Late.
