We're happy to announce the arrival of Road Trips Volume 3 Number 1 and Jerry Garcia Band: Keystone Berkeley.
To celebrate, we've been streaming select tracks - like this very special song from the latest Jerry Garcia Band release, Let It Rock.
Friend Of The Devil (Keystone Berkeley, 11/17/1975)
(player takes a minute to load - but it's worth the wait!)

Yes Yes Yes
Just hearing the first few notes of this I think I'm in on this wow, and I had just picked up Compliments last week! Dig it Let It Rock!! Jerry Forever!!!
Very nice
Also hooked after the intro...
wow!
pretty great! Let It Rock may be my favorite Jerry cover, just because he kicks it into a whole nother sphere from the original. Which has always struck me as classic, yeah, but Chuck Berry fluff. Whereas with Jerry it is this primordial epic of humans scrambling in the in face of inexorable force and pretty much a metaphor for life, the universe and everything, with music to match.
There's probably a case to be made that Nicky is a little too pretty as contrasted to powerful, but hey, I will take this and say thank you very much!!!
let it rock Nicky!! Nice

nicky hopkins no less, too.. i love jerry, love the stones piano in the nicky hopkins years and love this show.. i have never ever heard it at all sounding like this..
