This was my first time in 'deep waters'. Drove up from Bloom'ton with buds. The Dead played on a stage like we used to see when @ sock hops as a kid. Became xtremly dizzy & wended way to front of stage. Parked self directly in front Gerry. Stage hit me waist high. Pig was behind JG. Got my bearings by shows end. these guys were lugging their gear themselves. Walked over to Gerry, stuck out my open hand & said,' Mr. Garcia, your music sure makes a lot of sense to me' His jaw opened & shook his head & my hand. These were regular guys. What a night!
