    Far from boring
We all enjoyed the shows were at so why not comment on them.Far from boring I read many comments about most of the shows was at.Not easy for me to comment on every show I went to 476 Times makes it rather tough.I just recently gave it a full count.Had thought it was up the in the 500's but not.If I included Jerry band would be well over 500 having saw Jerry band 185 times.I didn't think this show was that good at the time.Looking back and listening to it now it was pretty good .Nothing special even though I love the Dew this one is a bit to fast for me. That said it only they played Morning dew after throwing stones though.

For some reason, this show is very foggy in my mind. (I can think of some possible reasons.) Nothing jumps out at me as being particularly good, although I need to get into the Archive to refresh the grey matter here. I have good memories of the surrounding shows (9/17/82 and 10/9/83) but not this one. I know that is boring but I'm commenting on each of my 26 shows just because I can!

    Drak Star Tease
This was my favorite show for a long time, if you listen to space at the archives you get a little Dark Star tease. This show was a lot of fun, we drove down from Sudbury, MA and scored tickets on the off ramp.

What can I say. I hit me like a title wave. I was 15 years old. I was totally mystified by the entire experience. I went with 3 other guys who never seen them either but we all had friends or older brothers/sisters who where Deadheads and we had just listened to tapes and LP's at this point. We did the usual things to christen our first shows. The show was a tidal wave of emotions for me. The funny thing I remember is that guy who made those very simple 'purple' tie-dyes and the smell that they had. That cheap dye smell stuck with me for years. It imprinted on my brain. Every time I smell it I go back to this event in my life. I also remember being picked up by my friends parents and they parked in a parking garage. We had to take an elevator up to the top. Those damn lights sizzled and wierded us out so much that we couldn't stop laughing. The parents knew we were high but acted casual and kept asking if everything was alright and what's so funny! lol Funny what you remember. The rest is history.
