I was at this show, what is "Down In The Bottom"?
My memory is not that great, but I thought Bobby was singing Meet me at the bottom bring me my running shoes .... When I go out the window ain't got time lose.....
As I remember, I used to think of it as an alternative to Minglewood in the line up.
End of the tour. Jerry is done and so am I. After seing 12 of the 14 shows on this tour it's time to go but the Dead still bust it out one last time on the east coast. This was a great ending to a great tour. "And you know it's going to be, alright!" Need a break until summer tour starts!
The Eyes Of The World? How fast was that? I never got a chance to see the Dead in peson! But this show blows me away!!!!!
This was my wife to be's first show. If I remember correctly after Touch of Grey Bobby said something about seeing more of them by watching MTV.
I like long walks, especially when taken by people who annoy me!
This comment is supposed to go in 1987 Sorry for the screw up
I like long walks, especially when taken by people who annoy me!
I guess I'll take a walk!!!
This was a great show. The energy was high both the band and the audience. One of the best shows I have been to.

Down In The Bottom / Ain't Superstitious are two songs written by the late great bluesman Willie Dixon. Here are some other songs the Dead covered that were written by him:
Little Red Rooster
Spoonful
I Just want to Make Love To You
Wang Dang Doodle
Willie passed away in 1992 and was inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame in 1994
