Wow… It sounds like the event
Wow… It sounds like the event was an exciting and superb one. I mean, these are the songs that had been a great success and been sung by the youngsters of that period. I always wish to have the video footages from these events. tree sprayer

    Graveyard !
From original notes written at the time : "Eugene, Oregon was the next stop and show (August 16th), the last of the Northwestern 1981 Tour. A gymnasium adjacent to a graveyard, more lingering about. A raft ride down a river some mile or so from the concert hall. The show ? kinda forgot about it now but apparently Ken Kesey and Babbs (from the Merry Pranksters were there and acted during “space” or “drums”. It was the end of a long, well traveled, 6 day tour. It was a nice, unbelievably fun, journey with the Dead and friends."

St. Stephen59 Hot as hell in Mac Court! No AC but feeling no pain. A weird weekend as a buddy of mine got shot! The lady I took passed out from the heat and excitement of the show.

That's right, it was an oven in there. People tripping their skulls out, sweating like horses.... the band was pretty trippy and drippy that night, the Pranksters going nuts with the Thunder Machine....vintage night in Eugene!

this is the show where i danced so constantly i finally identified with the drums. Sweat poured all over my face and into my eyes, and still, i kept dancin' like it was nobody's bizness. Babbs actually became a spirit during the thunder machine space of a man who had just croaked...he sex, "I tried, and i tried and I TRIED!!!!" by the cosmic trash bin. very nice. keep your character, enjoy living, share your fortune, OXOX Merple Reddin
