    My First Dead Show!
This was my first Dead show and what an experience. I had 2nd row seats right in front of Jerry Garcia. My High School buddy's were already Dead Heads, I suppose that's how I got the great seats. I still have my ticket stub, but no pictures. I remember the parking lot before the show was like a psychedelic circus. I have never seen anything like it! We also went to one of the Eugene shows about a week later. It was the show when Ken Kesey came out on stage.

    Holiday inn
I remember the Holiday inn also for us it was a bit different we had locked out keys in our car. We had to go the lobby and ask for a coat hanger to get the keys out for some reason they looked at us as if it was a device for getting high and we had to really convince them to pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee . there was also discussion of what was going on in the Jacuzzi between front desk clerks, was a typical day in the life of us.. The talk in the jacuzzi was of WANG DANG.

There was a Holiday Inn right on the edge of the venue parking lot. All the heads took over the hotel. I especially remember about 25 to 30 of us hanging around in the pool jacuzzi area. Everyone was nude lounging swimming and soaking. Well, the manager came in and his face turned white. He was like, "no - no no please (pleading), here put these on (picking up cloths and handing to people). Don't do this you must. Oh oh ok I'm going to call, I'm going to call the police. You can't do this." It was a surreal seen. Somewhat comical and yet I kind of felt sorry for him. No one would really talk to the guy. He left and of course the party broke up 'cause nobody wanted to go to jail. ;) Dougles
