    Blue Unicorn
Blue Unicorn was just about the only acid we could get in high school. Not particularly strong stuff (I knew people that would take 2-3 hits) but it was cheap (a buck a hit) and easy to get. right around the time I graduated some purple microdot came down from berkeley and the guy selling it was telling everyone "you can't take 3 hits of this stuff! half a hit! half a hit!" I remember my friend Andy trying to cut a hit in half with a razor blade and both halves falling on the floor and him on his hands and knees trying to find them ("nobody move!"). And $5 a hit! holy shit that was expensive back then. Pretty sure these were my first Bruce shows. I missed the Feb forum run so hadn't seen them since Irvine 89. I didn't start traveling for shows until 91 so at this point all my shows were so cal shows.

Some of the best songs I have
Some of the best songs I have heard so far, that is what suits these songs the best. After listening to these songs one will wonder why we lack such songs or compositions these days. Anyways, thanks for the listing. catalina island hotel

My first show where I saw Bruce onstage with the band...I was hooked and wanted more!! The Spencer Davis visit was a treat and man that howling in Drumz/Space by that woman was so enjoyably trippy... Thanks to the Blue Unicorn ;)

I went back and looked at my shows list and it looks like the killer "howling" segment (from drums) was from the Feb shows....
