    First Show

What an awesome experience on a wet and misty Oakland evening. I remember the gentlemen sitting in the alcoves in the ramps to the top level uttering "doses, shrooms". We sat Jerry side below a couple who had been to over a hundred shows. First question was, "how's the acid these days". Pretty classic.
    Ripping introduction, completely hooked.

It rained so hard before the show; we all were in line, all wet. got lucky with backstage passes thanks to Ram Rod, so we gave our tickets to the couple behind us who were trying to get in...so many rain songs that night...I can't describe how important this particular show was...It was just one of the great ones of all time; it had it all!

Wow, What an experience. First Show. What a total mind blower. I sat infront of 20yr veteran couple. I almost became a 10 year veteran. They questioned how the acid was these days. I roamed the venue, absorbing it all. The sound was great. What an indoctrination!!! WOW

i dragged several shipmates to these 3 shows and made a few converts. i really liked kaiser, it was so easy to get close to the stage and the venue was a short cab ride from the naval base at alameda (tho the coliseum was even closer, we could walk, in a pinch)
