My friend Bobo and I dosed up when he got out of work, and I still don't know how he got to work the next day. Maybe he was still high on the sound. It was a good show, but not the best. Compared to the previous week at Nassau, or 8/6/74 or 4/30/77. Still, there is nothing like a Grateful Dead concert.

had been around the world a bit in a lucky happenstance but still only had 1 foot on d bus.
this show did it. was 6th row seats smack in front of jerry, and during the transition i went from watching the dead to participating on the bus…it was just a cosmic moment and my feet started going

The US Blues and the crowd energy still rank as one of my peak experiences at a Dead show. Was there anyone else who was there who had the same experience. I have an audience tape that sounds like crap but it brings back a great memory.

this was my second show, (giants in sept being first) the crowd energy erupting on the way in and throughout the venue hooting and screaming with a ny intensity that got my attention all the way up the escalators to our not ba dgreen seats, we ended up just going down to the large aisle between the the yellow and orange seats to move around the wave and roar of the crowd as Jer Sang "Inspiration" in the terrapin really got me moving and was one of those YEAH moments movinga bit more and more my girl and I dancing from terrapin through and during U S blues that was with a joyand intensity and IT was FUNNNNN

This show was powerful from beginning to end. Donna was wearing a kimona-like dress and when she raised her arms she looked like a goddess figure. All Over Now had Phil bombing MSG with vibrating base chords. Brown Eyed Women and Lazy Lightnin/Supplication ended a great first set. The second set was fun to watch. It has been a favorite recording for years. Loved the Terrapin-Playin!

VG show, 8.5/10, Playing is the highlight with an inspired jam, almost everything is very well done, high energy from both the band and crowd, check out Jerry's solos in Candyman and FotD, his second run in the Scarlet solo, and the Fire outro.
