went "awol" from camp lejeune, nc...drove to raleigh in my tercel to pick up a friend who was flying in for the show. continued driving many hours to charlotte, arriving just in time. simply magical, for me, that jer gave us a "dew" since this was the tune that started it all for me in the 7th grade. insane drums outside after show. drove 6hrs across the state to arrive just in time for my "dress blues" inspection on no sleep at all. passed the inspection.
