Radio Broadcast
Drove from Eugene, saw Friday and Saturday's shows, then attended a Wedding in San Mateo.
I remember My Buddy's hatchback wide open in the gravel parking lot of the reception site, drinking bubbly, Jamming to the Broadcast & wishing we were there!
Bailing out a friend
My good friend at the time...John..??? from so cal got busted before the show for selling hash...little did they know there were sheets of paper in his Opel...I remember driving back to the dive hotel in his car and getting pulled over for a tailight infraction...opened the glovebox and shit....found the reggy in there and got me a ticket for a tailight!!! LOL....had to fly back in 2 months to prove it was fixed....went to court the next day to get him out...the lady judge was wearing tie dye under her robes!!!
John missed a great show!!!
Box of Rain
This was a pretty strong Greek show from start to finish. Very cool when they seemed to take a mini break before coming back out after Brokedown for the Box of Rain. By then alot of heads had headed into the streets, but when they heard the band come back out they all came running back in. It was great. Phil- "you people will cheer for anything!" before busting into the Box. A memorable afternoon to be sure and a great way to end another great Greek run.
