This was my first show and an incredible performance with the Scarlet, Music, Crazy early first set placement and the amazing St Stephen (first since 1971) -> Eyes. Check out the instrumental beginning to Eyes. Dave Davis

Breaking the Ice (Nine)

My first show as well after missing out on the Philly shows in '73 & '74 due to prior commitments.
How appropriate that for my first show my tix were in the LAST ROW! No matter, I was right where I was supposed to be...

How Weird

And of course how appropriate to be accompanied by my pal Howard, who I had sat near & heckled Slade with at a Kingfish show in Trenton summer of '75 before we actually met for real a few months later at NYU! Had one of those flashes...we knew each other looked familiar & finally figured it out. Mahogany Rush & Nils Lofgren were pretty cool, though. Everyone left after Kingfish & before Aerosmith, the headliner.
