It was cold. I remember the band took a break during the second set to let their hands warm up.
When they left the stage for the night I think Bobby said "We'd like to play some more but we can't feel our fingers."
you are dead on...I was at the show, also...a blue norther had blew in that day and it was cold and Bobby did say something like that
I remember - not far from the entrance gate, (yes, cold and windy that day), I ran into some friends who had one of those big (5 gallons?), yellow Igloo beverage dispensers. They had been down near Bastrop earlier and collected mushrooms. The Igloo had a batch of a "tea" they had brewed up. It was a great show (but I could not have remembered the set list for the life of me)!
Remember the poster for the show? Skull wearing cowboy hat with feathers dangling? Just uploaded/submitted a picture of my copy.
An enjoyable show, with Lazy Lightning > Supp as the highlight of set 1, and Tenn Jed the hightight of set 2. Almost everything is very well done though. VG show, 8.5/10
The October edition of Manor downs has come as unexpectedly. It is sure going to become the grab show poster. However, I have great concerns over how it is going to be unfolded because there are many critics who do not approve it.
