The second set looks like a beast but sounds like a lamb.
I don't know how many of you know, but we had just had that terrible huricane thrash the city and we were still recuperating. This was a wonderful respite.
Dougles
very underwhelming show. Guys sounded flat and tired, and cant really blame them. Best songs of night were JBG and BMR.
“The Omnipotent Grateful Dead!”
remember carving pumpkins in the lot before the show (i went w/ dancing bears, my buddy did the SYF)
upperdeck tix, the sound was horrible! very muddy
sat/stood in a lower level walkway for the 2nd set, only lasting memory was the stella blue- you could hear a pin drop. was always amazed at the silence during the 2nd set slow jerry, but this one took the cake.
overall a blah show, even though on "paper" it looks like it should be great.
I met my husband in the parking lot of this show, 20 years ago. Hard to believe it has already been that long. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, my two companions were under arrest by the undercover hippies, and gone for the duration (along with many, many others). I pulled the car back out of the police lot, and parked next to a happy and kind blonde-haired man and his good friend. And the rest is history. Lots of love in the dream! -Chile'n'V

The only song I knew was Johnny B. Goode.
