For those of you that are unaware
Just wanted to point out a small, yet significant detail about the Spectrum Show on the 12th of September. During the space that eventually lead to that amazing Morning Dew, Jerry was playing with the melody from Handsome Cabin Boy. I remember being there, in the rafters for this show, and hearing it but not quite remembering what it was. Later I heard it again on a Garcia Grisman CD.

    Yeap.
Best show of the Spectrum shows. Awesum 1st set (no knew material!) with nothing but classics. More of the same in the second set. The Iko was a rip roaring stomp, fallowed by a georgous Scarlet->Fire. It was never my favorite, but when Man Smart, Woman Smarter went into Drums, we were always in for a treat. This night was no exception. And space turned into this great jam. It really took hold of the crowd, and didn't let go. Oh the Dew. Oh the Dew. I'm just gonna leave it at that. I love a US Blues encore. Great show, to bad Brent missed it, he would of loved it.
