    The greatest show on Earth!
Hurry, Hurry, Hurry, See the Grateful Dead role over and play live!. Most amazing concert of my life. Day after Hendrix died. 4th row center ticket bought on the street face value $5.50. Thanks "Ricky"! Dark Star of all time and space. Light Show. Still gives me chills to hear the recording. What a night. Ah youth.

The soundboard portion, which made its debut on David Gans' GD Hour is some of the finest, most psychedelic Dead ever recorded. One of the best DARK STARs ever, love that feedback half way through. The acoustic set and the rest of the electric set circulate as audience. Apparently the Fillmore East crew shot b&w video footage, which exists on the east coast (possibly DC/Maryland area). Anyone know where it is?

How has the third set never been officially released? There haven't been many vault releases from 1970, and between the Darkstar, Chinacat jam and Pigpen saying "Fuck", this seems worthy of release. Sure, the soundboard is pretty easy to find, but I'd like to hear what the wizards at Rhino could do with it.
