Jerry's guitar was a steady rainfall of musical drops. Just beautiful. Solid show throughout, definitely a personal favorite.

My buddy's first show

It was my buddys little brothers first show:

Someone tried to sell him doses.
He says "What are doses?"

Someone tried to sell him X.
He says: "What is X?"

Someone asked him for some rope.
He says: "What is rope"

And then the guy said "Ya know rope, I want to make leash for my dog!"

The lead-in to Truckin'

took a long time to build. It was obvious that's where they were going out of Space, but they were just hinting and teasing and revving the engine. When the light turned green and they stomped on the gas the place went nuts.

I can't remember which night it was, but I bought one of my favorite tie-dyes outside the Garden during this run. It was a solid red shirt with a colored diagonal pattern that looked like a tire track from the Magic Bus.
