My first show. 1st row behind the stage. Lousy view of the band playing, great view of them backstage, great time.

Flashes of cops on horseback circling the Garden like indians around Custer ... only meaner.
Can definitely relate. Watched them chase some guy down and body slam him between two horses, then drag his limp body away. Guess his night was ruined. Cops were always assholes there. They would approach you in the stairways and see if you wanted to get on the floor for like 10 bucks. I would just tell them no, I prefer to hop the wall for free. Never a dull moment at the Garden. Train ride home full of deadheads was always a trip too!
i as well was sitting behind stage 4th or 5th row, only tickets left after they sold out.great view of band from behind. as if you were sitting on stage at show.crowd and vibe were great.nothing i have ever experienced since.cop busted me for smoking some herb out front of msg.let me go.i thought that was cool. maybe a dead fan. who know's?

Buying bad LSD, but not realizing it till halfway thru the show.
Had a great seat -- should have taken pictures -- but as it was I spent way too much time trying to write down the setlist so I wouldn't forget it.
I may be going to hell in a bucket ... but at least I'm enjoying the ride!!!!
My first show. 1st row
