RedRocks is one of the friendlier venues...having just been (in July '07) to see Mr Weir's band there...apparently a much more laid back atmosphere than what you recall from the '80's...microbrews available, no no-smoking nonsense...the new visitor center at the top is great, piped in music from the stage into the bathrooms and restaurant/bar...smiling cops
@nd night was fun, Steve and I had a tremenduos bbq that afternoon,.As we were driving to the show ,we "saw the layers" coming down A mountain, overlookig a valley, onto another mountain. I thought I had seen that in Indy 2 years ago.Really. There are certain songs and combos and just a certain song that is rarely playednext to another for musical reasons, but the Cassidy.. China rider end of the 1st set I still haven't been able to duplicate. Very special.

The bouncers and staff.
I don't know about now, but in 83' and 85' the staff at Red Rocks was horrible.
