Activity Center

Now known as Gammage auditorium, the center was one of Frank Lloyd Wright's last designs.
This being the only Dead concert I ever personally attended, I can vouch for the fact that it was held in the Arizona State University Activity Center (where the ASU basketball teams play, now called Wells Fargo Arena). It was NOT held at Gammage Auditorium. Frank Lloyd Wright designed Gammage, but he had nothing to do with the design of the Activity Center.

Location
I don't believe this is correct. The band played the Activity Center which is the basketball arena on campus. Gammage Auditorium also on campus was the site of the ticket on-sale. I camped out with a bunch heads but the show definitely was in the Activity Center.
