    Dead at the Bank
The Bank was a warehouse converted into a concert venue with a 360 light show. I attended a number of concerts there (Ten Years After, SPRIT, Bo Diddly etc.) I will never forget when the Dead came to play (December 13, 1968). Owsley was checking mikes and manning the sound board. The band came on stage and Constanten and Hart had long Fu-Manchu moustaches. I was blown away before the first note was played. The band started and the light show began. I seemed to have entered a different world. The music became a liquid that we were swimming in. Passing through the dancing crowd, strobe light flashing, everyone seemed to be floating in the air.
