Working at camp

I remember the owener of the camp saying if anyone goes to the show you will be fired. That said my friend Fred and I went. Also, remember parking miles from the show and when we got there it starting raining.I hooked up with these people in a tent and that was the last I saw of Fred for the weekend.I'll never forget Jerry's voice singing Morning Dew @3am.The place went nuts!!!!!! After the show I had know idea how I would get home. Covered in mud and no mony left, I starting walking down to the main road and just when I started to hitch a ride I looked to my left and there was Fred unbelievable!!!! The greatest 3 days of my life.Woodstock being the other.Oh! yes Fred was fired and I wasn't.Why because I told my parent's to tell camp I was to sick to come to the phone.Ha!Ha!!!!!

Since I had recently turned 16,THIS was my Woodstock,

The race way at Watkins Glen, was a great place for this jam to be .Got there on friday afternoon, and stayed stoned until Sun.,the tunes from the Dead, the Band, and the Allan Bro.'s was fantastic. The rain on saturday, was a slight bummer ,but most were stoned so who really cared,we were there for the music. The sense of Community during the weekend was awesome. To me, this was one big happy time, among at least 500,000 brothers and sisters from all corners of USA and beyond, had a Great time! Wish a concert this peaceful and laid back was possible today! If,you were there you know what I mean.Peace and Love to all.
