My friend Mary, seeing

My friend Mary, seeing Pigpen & The Dead for the first time, commented while Pig was performing a "Hard To Handle"/"Turn On Your Lovelight" segue: "I don't know what he's singing, but it sure sounds dirty!" I was certain, after the loss of Pigpen and Mickey {for awhile} that I was witnessing the last days of the Grateful Dead. Never, EVER count them out of the big picture!
