    "Had to be held down by big police"
    Got drunk on wine and got held down on the sidewalk on High St. by 6 police. Anyone remember seeing me? My wife persuaded them to let me go tho...thankfully...

    St Johns Arena/Mershon Auditorium
    I thought I was 15 but it appears I was 16, first rock concert. I was stunned that they moved it from St Johns to Mershon auditorium, sacrificing about 10 0r 11,000 ticket sales. Perhaps ticket sales were slow, but I heard Garcia flew in and seeing St Johns acoustical issues, moved the venue. Someone posted that it was moved the day of the show and that was not the case. It was well in advance if I recall correctly. The tickets were also misprinted "Greatful" dead. Set list... thought we heard Good Lovin. Can't remember. Saw a 2nd Dead show in Columbus a year or two later at Veterans Memorial auditorium where they did Werewolves of London but I don't see a listing for it here. Anyone remember that? great shows both, peace to us all
