On Sunday, July 13, "Tales From The Golden Road" on Sirius Satellite Radio's Grateful Dead Channel will be all about the words, when hosts David Gans and Gary Lambert welcome author/scholar David Dodd, creator of the invaluable web resource known as the Annotated Grateful Dead Lyrics, which Dodd adapted into a fascinating and beautifully illustrated book in 2005. We'll be examining the historical and folkloric roots of many of the Dead's most beloved songs, and discussing the many different things those songs have meant to many different Dead Heads.
