This is Ginger, our 4 yr old New Mexico pound puppy who now lives on the island of Kauai with my 24 yr daughter. Coconuts float down the Wailua River, out to sea and then some end up on the beach. Most are still in husk and Ginger will bite at one until she can get a grip, and then bring it to you. We come out of the water and the gozas are surrounded by coconuts. This posting is a test to see if i can post something bigger than a postage stamp. (I burned my first cd last week. All you riders left me in the dust some years ago. It's cool, it's excellent dust but I'm catchin' up.)

If you need help figuring
If you need help figuring out archive.org...or the better site, btetree.org (ya need to convert files here) pm me and I'll send ya detailed instructions. It'll intimidate ya at first cause it looks complicated but after a few under your belt (cd's not drinks, but the drinks may help LOL) you'll be thinkin' "damn, this is so easy!"
Very nice pup by the way and THANK YOU for rescueing it from the pound...so important!
Peace,
Steve

Dogs in a pound
From pound to paradise.........Nothin' left to do but smile smile smile
Gone are the days we stopped to decide........where we should go......we just ride.
Or could be.....
Or could be "rags to riches" as 1 friend of ours said about our dog, Cosmic Charlie, being as he came home with us from a NM reservation-noone knew him, he was hungry & cold.........best dog EVER........they'd be friends.......Docks! xoxoxo Gypsy Cowgirl
Cosmic Charlie, how do you do?
Yes, Gypsy I bet they would be friends...... I looked at your pictures of Charlie again and he is pretty wonderful. Not too many dogs have there own Dead pillow to lay around on. Ginger is from the Farmington pound in the Four Corners region---Navajo Nation. My daughter was going to school there. What is great about Farm is that Mesa Verde is 3 hrs away, Aztec with the beautiful ancient Puebloan ruins (and a very magical kiva) is 10 minutes, Durango, Colorado is an hour and Shiprock is right outside town. I first went to New Mexico (Santa Fe) in 1966. I left from 710 Ashbury Street, if you can believe that. But that is another story.......
Farmington, NM-we have
Farmington, NM-we have friends there that make "The Hat Nanny" www.wbarg.com. I sold to 1 store there years ago. When did you leave 710? I wonder if you ever met my hubby there? He 1st came down from Oregon in '68. Oh, wait you said you left in '66.....well, ya never know.........pm me your address, if I find I have another Dead pillow, I'll send it to ya-then they'll be 2 NM once stray/homeless dogs w/ Dead pillows.......
