    Golden Gardens, killer day!
    I was at the show at Golden Gardens with some friends smooking weed and enjoying this inpromptto out of nowhere live performance by THE GRATFUL DEAD!!! That in its self was a mind blower. It was a beautiful warm day in Seattle. Above in the blue sky was written in white smoke "GRATFUL DEAD" Someone said that the Dead were going to be playing later at Eagels Auditorium. So we dropped acid and headed over there.Magic Fern were also on the bill and they were one of my favorite local bands, I still have a 45 by them! As the show was winding down, I looked around and very few people wer still their. I couldnt believe it because they were still jamming on stage! Pigpen came out from behind the organ and had the mike. He was pacing back and forth on the stage and making up lyrics as he went. At one point he stopped and looke and pointed at me, and said 'are you high, are you as high as I am?"I couldnt believe it and Ill never forget it!
