    started by dstache: Part 4 of the the 1977 lossless vine includes everything from 10/14 through the end of the year, EXCEPT for 10/15, which is listed on one of the discs but which is corrupt and you will unable to convert (not only this copy, but my copy AND the copy of the person that gave it to me). So don't bother with 10/15. Hopefully, someone will vine it in the future. This is a wonderful end to a peak year. There are so many fine shows, but 10/16, 10/29, 11/4, 11/6 and 12/27 truly stand out. Note that ONLY two tracks from 12/29 are included (the 2 tracks not included on the Dick's Pick). You definitely should purchase the officially released 11/5 and 12/29. 12/29 is a show for the ages and contains what I consider the definitive version of Jack Straw, as well as one of the great moments in GD history as the crowd reacts to the opening notes of China Cat Sunflower, the first since retirement (and the only post-retirement version until 1979). Dr zevon has been having some seriouse life problemes , if you would like to burn copy for hime to keep I`m quite sure he would appreaciated . I will pm you his addeess . Ok, I can do it, but I have at least 2 things ahead of this in priority (finishing a reseed of Part 2, which I will complete this weekend, and finishing a trade, which should be done by early next week), not to mention seeding Vince Era 1990 Part 2, but I can probably start working on this next weekend. Give me 2 weeks plus a couple days. Someone else needs to clean up the list though. I will send it to EDAD first, as he graciously reseeded one of the other 77 vines. PLEASE, someone take charge, post that you are volunteering for this vital duty, and PM everybody on the list to see who is still active.

Here is a good start. Numbers 16-18 have been scratched, the origianl vine died somewhere with those 3. I moved joneb below EDAD. The folks who have a description by their name have not been around here for a long time. I am tempted to just remove them to prevent a headache later but it just doesn't seem cool. Sooo, can we please be diligent about getting a hold of the person first before sending to them. Please??? Dstache, if you are really swamped (and I know you are =)) I don't mind re-seeding this. I can do it, it was just a little time. Thanks JSFC! We'll go back to the original list, minus the 3 JSFC eliminated and Hal R who it is safe to say is out of commission right now. Instead of PMing, I am going to ask that each person who is still "in" on this vine repost the list with a few asterisks (***) next to their name (I have placed asterisks next to EDAD's name because I know he is in). Skip anyone who does not so indicate. Hopefully joneb or pdave are still in, but if not I will send this in 2 or 3 weeks to the first person other than EDAD who wants it and adjust the list accordingly. I will post in the metatopic as well. Like I was saying, joneb does still vine he is just really hard to get a hold of. pdave on the other hand ... I'll just say you should try to get a hold of him first. Birdsong, AlpineMike and Ursa have not been around in a really long time. Not to say they won't come back around but I know that people including myself have tried getting a hold of birdsong and ursa to no avail. You could also just switch up the list where the people we know for sure are in are up first and the others can be put on the bottom. I know I know it is complicated and shouldn't be but I am trying my hardest to not let these get lost again. I would also like to apologize up front if I come across like an ass in my posts, but again, I'm just trying to keep these from getting lost, that is my only intention. Yes, I agree with you. I just figured I would give everyone a chance. The last thing I want to see is this vine disappearing again anytime soon. I knew when I was posting the first time after you added your comments that it seemed like maybe I was ignoring your work, but I didn't ignore it and I didn't mean to seem like that. What about ripple1974? He and birdsong1969nj were good viners for a long time. I think that if people do NOT re-post with asterisks, indicating their continued interest, within a week, we should bump them not only down by probably off the list.

My vote is to not remove Hal R unless Hal R wants to be removed. He responded to my PM recently, and I sent him the Flac Me/You vine last week. He is still around--probably just need him to say whether he is in or out. :-)

Folks, if you are signed up and haven't put asterisks next to your name to indicate that you are still "in," please do so soon. I will start working on the reseed this weekend. I have to re-rip and burn everything, and the shows are sorta all over the place as multiple people contributed to this and I didn't make master copies. It should be ready to go by Mon 2/21, if not earlier. When I send it out, I am gonna delete all those from the list who haven't asterisked their names.
