    >>>>Twilight Zone?On December 1st, 2010 L. Mo. said: I swear that when I downloaded Let It Grow, I heard Bobby say "we'll be back in a bit", but now when I play it, it cuts off before that. I tried re-downloading fron dead.net and the site posted here, but it still cuts off. Any help? Exorcist? Actually no it's not the twilight zone, that would be the Tennesee Jed>Let it Grow one you heard...at the end of this sequence (which is a part of the 30 days) Bobby said"We'll be back in just a little bit." >>>>My Lilly and Badger Two of my favorite overseas Deadhead Dead.netters....I am totally with you on the Europe "banning" from contests and things Dead...I feel your pain (in fact the Europe tour banner this year proved that) and I'm totally for you guys entering these contests and being able to win stuff. >>>>Two Sugar Mags On December 1st, 2010 MrnDw said: there were two Sugar Magnolias yesterday . . . where was the other one from? . . . Yes there were two sugar magnolia's in the 30 days of Dead...make sure to check the archives they now put up and you can get them all until Dec. 8th. >>>Labrika Love that idea...we could have a "stage banter" contest, I have alot of those in my head right now just thinking of this idea >>>>cb73 The artwork looks like to me that it was made from the guy who does the graphics for Dead.Net and he (who is a really nice guy by the way) was trying to give us a bone in this department. I can help you guys with any artwork, just let me know what you want. >>>BigBoss Wondering the same thing myself....I sure hope so but I think they are combining those two weeks because they put up basically $100 each time there give or take. >>>Re:Phil and Freinds Furthur Europe I think Phil's act was just not generating enough revenue to justify a European tour. I think that if Furthur did one (they have enough revenue) it would greatly help their world wide exposure/fan base yet, I'm also thinking since the boys are a little bit older they aren't in a hurry to do this. And regarding the contest, I've had some great ideas come in...like what's posted and a note about A-Z deadsongs too. I think for the Sunshine Daydream prize, I'm going to put up an anonymous You-Tube (Audio/Dead Fun graphics) and have you guys try to guess the show from which it was played. It's quite easy to do and this would make a great contest IMHO. We could do different contests and utilize the great ideas as well the next week. Video should be up tommorow and instead of just one winner, I'm gonna make it the first 3 to PM or email me. ♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥

...with the smaller touring company, and Phil's into classical stuff, I would've thought he would have made a Eurotour at some point over the last several years. Ratdog too for that matter, I guess that annual trip to Jamaica is enough for him.

Seriously, I really do. I really do hope Furthur can make it over to your neck of the woods. In the meantime, I think I hear San Francisco calling your name =) "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"

    CD running orders
In addition to the chronological list given by soulcrow, here are some alternate arrangements for those of use that want to burn to CD. Total: 343 minutes across 5 discs (68 min average per disc). DAY OF RELEASE - put the B versions at the end...with disc breaks I opted to stay closer to the 68 minute mark rather than 75+. DISC 1: New Speedway Boogie, Dark Star, Althea, Playing In The Band. DISC 2: Easy Wind (a), Sugaree, He's Gone (a), Estimated Prophet, China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider, Cream Puff War. DISC 3: Saint Stephen, The Music Never Stopped, Truckin', New Minglewood Blues, Lost Sailor > Saint Of Circumstance, New Potato Caboose, Cold Rain And Snow, So Many Roads, Sugar Magnolia (19th). DISC 4: Alligator, Cassidy ; Don't Ease Me In, Tennessee Jed ; Let It Grow, Dupree's Diamond Blues, Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower. DISC 5: My Brother Esau, Shakedown Street, Mason's Children, Let It Grow, Uncle John's Band, Sugar Magnolia (30th), Easy Wind (b), He's Gone (b). SUPER SETLIST - this takes into account the general placement of the song within a set, but I also wanted to space out the duplicate songs so they didn't appear on consecutive discs, and stay fairly close to the 68 minute average. DISC 1: Cold Rain And Snow, New Minglewood Blues, New Speedway Boogie, Easy Wind (a), Cream Puff War, Mason's Children, My Brother Esau, Tennessee Jed ; Let It Grow. DISC 2: Sugar Magnolia (19th), Truckin', He's Gone (b), Sugaree, China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider, The Music Never Stopped, So Many Roads, Cassidy ; Don't Ease Me In. DISC 3: Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower, Estimated Prophet, Easy Wind (b), Althea, Let It Grow. DISC 4: Shakedown Street, Lost Sailor > Saint Of Circumstance, He's Gone (a), Playing In The Band. DISC 5: Dupree's Diamond Blues, Dark Star, Saint Stephen, New Potato Caboose, Alligator, Sugar Magnolia (30th), Uncle John's Band.

We could all submit the funniest things the band said during a show....... I was listening to one of the shows from 95 (I was looking for Unbroken Chain) and starts making a joke of it..."Help on the range, Franklin's Glauwer, Trauma in the train, Florina." The omni march 28, 1995 I am sure we could all find some seriuously funny stuff and then vote which is the funniest, I am quite stumped on something really awesome for a contest anybody else have any ideas?

Man - I'll walk in the SunShine DayDream any day!And it's not like we're waiting until September :-) The fact that you started the 31st Days competition off your own back, at your own expense, is deeply cool. Thank you Spring is over the horizon, and it sounds like it ain't gonna come too soon in the Canyon. Stay warm, and if you're in NYC this summer, there's a beer with your name on it.

Just got it today... awesome! Just in time for Friday night too... beautiful! We're gonna crank out a really nice vintage bottle of French wine tonight and play this beauty! Of course we're not stopping with just the bottle; there'll be a few choice brewskis to back that up for sure! :-) Hey, you only live once, and Sunshine Daydream is worth celebrating! Wish you were here Critter!! Thank you so much... I've been wanting to see this beauty for years! Nothing left to do but... :-) :-) :-) Love, hippiedarkstar

And on the 31st Day... Thank you so much for all of this. I can't recall any other band that gives me 30 days of free music from the depths of the archives and such great shows. The discussion and annual contest game will continue here: And on the 31st Day... Last year I made up a couple of games and gave out things like The Creamery Benefit Show of 8-27-1972 DVD. I worked hard on some new artwork for this year, and will add the back covers to the rest of the dead.net art already posted. Last night I could only stay up for a few hours dew to phone calls. I'll finish it up in the link above. Thanks for the list as well, I'll be using that to finish up the backs and the 6 Volumes. See you all this eve after work. ~Love is Real~ P.S. Yes this is a team effort. Like 3phase putting up the file and everyone else posting the links, etc. We are a family aren't we....Please make sure you stop by the 31st Day link (above) in the Dead.Net forum for everything related 30 Days of Dead in the future. All information and links and lists and contests will be posted there

Really, really nice art. I have to admit to being partial to the male/female skeleton pair. I wish I could post the Tibetan Kinkara skeleton couple. What deadheads did with this motif actually has an ancient lineage. You have a really nice touch, Mr. Critter

A five disc chronological set works so perfectly I feel like someone planned it out like this at HQ! Disc 1= 1967-71 Disc 2= 1972-73 Disc 3= 1974-77 (two Lazys but oh well) Disc 4= 1978-1981 Disc 5= 1982-1992 I'll still use the CD fronts.

This Monday: I'll be finishing up the 31st Day Contest tonight, sorry for the delay but I had alot of work over the last week. I would like to say that I'm truly happy that Dead.Net did such an excellent job this year, they really pulled out all the stops. In honor of David's new picks coming out, the contest is going to be a tribute to his "Star Wars" theme (not overly Ewok but just a hint). Please go here tomorrow to see the new video and contest. First contest prize is going to be the first 3 to guess the right venue, musicians, and song in the contest will be getting the wonderful Chateau D'Horreville show that was played on a whim (due to a cancellation of a festival) in 1971 by the GOGD. Oh and I elected not to make artwork this year, because Dead.Net and Rhino were so efficient on the album covers.

Contest 31st Day #1 2011 Winners are: ecb NFA1985 and Ted (don't know your dead.net name) I still need Ted's address, I've got the other two, so i can send him a good bag (with Chateau D'Horreville 1971 DVD) and a few other goodies for the holidays. Way to go! I know it was a little tougher than I had thought, I thought for sure people would get this right away. The answer was: Furthur, 5/30/2010, Calaveras County Fairgrounds (Angel's Camp, CA) "Samson and Delilah" From the left: Jeff Chimenti Phil Bobby Joe Russo Larry Campbell on fiddle Jeff Pehrson Sunshine John Kadlecik If you ever going to listen to Furthur, these three special nights at Frogtown, USA were some of the best music I've heard since the early 90's Grateful Dead. Especially Friday's show, check it out. Next contest will be up in a couple of days or so. ~Critter
