I seeded and re-seeded this vine and I don't use Memorex cd's so it appears that someone is keeping the originals and sending off their copies - a Major no-no.

got this 3/21.... Comments: I have used and received a variety of CD brands. The ones that I have had problems with are TDK and Memorex. This vine comes on Memorex CDs. The vine Memorex CDs would only play Track 1 on both Disc 1 and Disc 2. All other tracks would not play on my CD players. It playes fine in the computer. I burned them to Maxell CDs, and all tracks play just fine. Even when I burn to Memorex CDs, it's 50/50 if they will play in a CD player--but they all play in the computer. I only use Maxell now.

In 1988 a friend of mine gave me this show on cassette. It was the first live Grateful Dead I had listened to. Needless to say I was addicted. The cassette is long gone and I would be thrilled to get a hold of this show once again. Thank you much Eric!! 15. PAPPYPGH 16. Exploratory Data Analysis 17. fluffhead420 18. MarkintheDark 19. Hi! Sorry about the long delay. I've tried reseeding this vine, but apparently my copies of the discs have errors and don't play correctly on some CD players (at least the reseed copies don't). The first set I sent to Pappy have screwed up tracking - I've sent a second set up to Pappy but the first disc has the same problem (track one is OK, but track two is way long and the player gets confused if you try to skip ahead tracks). The flac files weren't included with this vine so I couldn't generate a new set starting from there. It would be better if somebody with a verified good set of discs reseeds this vine. Cheers, MarkintheDark ********************************************* ******Laissez les bon temps rouler!****** *********************************************

Please be patient with me, folks - just getting my PC back from the shop in a day or two - I know I'm holding up the process on a couple of vines, here. I greatly apologize, but will be diligently working on everything asap. Thanks everybody! ~ Pappy http://www.theCAUSEjams.com "Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places, if you look at it right." - Robert Hunter

Sorry about the delay, I've had a family emergency that caused me to be out of town for 2 weeks. I got home to a box full of vines. I have this vine and will do my best to have it moving again by the end of the week.

Hey All, Just wanted to point out that Mike didn't actually tape this show, though it was his deck & therefore, his master. Greg Holtz & I did the taping. Mike was more of a wanderer & loved to spend the show walking around, meeting new people and enjoying the "colors" (nod, nod, wink, wink). Mike passed away a few years ago and will surely be missed. He was a kind soul with the heart of a child. With respect to the technical difficulties, I have a first gen copy & there are no difficulties on it, other than the actual equipment difficulties at the beginning of "Don't Need Love", when Healy had to pull one of the amps out of the soundboard & replace it. We were taping right in front of the board (you were still allowed to then) & watched him pull it. You can hear a nasty crackle on the tape when it occurs. Other than that, the only cuts in the master were at the tape flip during drums/space. Not sure how many hands this went through before it got here, but...... Anyway, this was a fantastic show and the best I ever saw. I highly recommend it! Toneye
