Eight shows from their fall European tour are included on this vine. So if you get this one plus the 81 Downunder Vine (10/12-13,17) you would have 11 of the 14 Europe shows! Two of these have already been vined (10/6 and 10/16) however I think they may be MIA. These are SBDs of mostly shn files and one in flac on 2 DVDs.     and despite being flacless (and a total shnidiot), I can copy them to a DVD and try to eventually convert these to wav so I can hear them on my stereo. While reviewing the Taping Compendium 1981 tonight, I noted several of these shows were noted as tremendous, (and my '81 section is pretty light). Anyway, I will give it a try. Maybe my New Years resolution for 2010? Become proficent in conversion? That maybe more than I am capable of. But..... The Truth is realized in an instant, the act is practiced step by step.

Ok, It has arrived! Now for the true test of my desires... I will attempt to convert this from FLAC > wav > MP3 !!!! Hopefully, someone who also recently did this for the first time can give me a vote of confidence... JackStrawfromCo, I'm gonna need some guidance tonight after I get the kids tucked in ! should be the easy part I suppose the reason to want an MP3 is to play on MP3 player funny I had the same thoughts when I got here... well - I have yet to make MP3s out of anything except what I have rec'd in straight audio CD-Rs (where you will just rip the CD at whatever setting you choose) but try to add the wav files to your iTunes and it should do the necessary conversion I have not updated my iPod in several months and have not attempted this yet (I do have countless hours of live dead on my 120G iPod already)
